I'm sorry, but your question doesn't make sense. It is probably that you
are using terms that don't fit what you mean.

An Add-In, in the sense of this newsgroup, is a file that changes how Word
behaves, adding macros, custom dialog boxes (called userforms), toolbars,
AutoText or keyboard shortcuts. See
http://addbalance.com/word/movetotemplate.htm for step-by-step instructions
on moving / sharing / copying customizations including AutoText,
AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments, macros, etc.

By locked form, I assume that you are referring to what Word calls an
"online form." Check this in help. For more about online forms, follow the
links at http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

Perhaps you can tell us in more detail what it is you are trying to do,
without using terms that could confuse. If you are talking about an online
form, I would suggest that you post in the mailmerge.fields newsgroup unless
you are only looking for a solution that uses macros.

Hope this helps,

How do I insert a Add-in in a form that I want locked.
.
What I mean is that I have created a document that I
don't want my people to change the form of but I want them
to be able to insert text. So I added form fields and
check boxes where I want them to put their imput then I
protected it so they can't change the perment text. After
I protect it, if I want to change anything not in a form
field I have to unprotect it make my changes then
reprotect it. When I reprotect it I loose all the text in
the form fields. I found the code for a Add-in that will
fix that, so I am trying to find out how to insert it into
my document.

Follow the links about forms that I gave you. One shows how to reprotect a
form without resetting the data.
