Where should I put a Word template to make it available to all users on a
computer? I see a Startup folder only in C:\Documents and Settings\<current
user>\Application Data\Microsoft\Word.

TIA

Hi

On the Tools menu, click Templates and Add-Ins.
Click the Templates tab.
Click on Add..browse to the folder containing the template and select the
template and click ok
This now becomes a global template which loads whenever word starts

Thanks Ashish,

but what if I want to do this myself (e.g. as a part of an installation
program) and not leave it to the user; where should a global template go on
disk?

TIA
